My Ganesh ring

I have to post the ring picture. I swear, I will wear it as often as possible. I try not to break it, try not to misplace or lose it. It will be in my will along with martinphu items.

Thank u again @martinphu www.martinphu.com

First day at JJ (Chatuchak) market

Just realized that right after two months at Platinum Fashion Mall, Bangkok, I am now opening a second branch at JJ market. Is this too fast (but surely not too furious)? A long way to go. For now, Tavorn by KC has to hang tight, think a lot to plan the future as smooth as possible.

Thank u, thank u and thank u for all of your overwhelming supports. I will do my utmost not to deceive you. This is a perpetual learning process.

And today, I got a nice surprise from @martinphu www.martinphu.com: a birthday present (well it is a little bit too early, since my BD is on July 29th . Do I look that old yet?!?), a special ring. Oh please don't think of a diamond ring, (I don't deserve it), but a yellow fancy ring with Ganesh head.

Yellow because I am a Monday girl (yeah for those who don't know, Thai people associate a color to each day of the week: Monday is Yellow, Tuesday is Pink, Wednesday Green, Thursday Orange, Friday Blue, Saturday Purple and Sunday Red). and Ganesh, because for those (like me) who are having a business, Ganesh can help us if we do good. A kind like this.

So starting tomorrow Sunday June 19th, Tavorn by KC will rock; Tavorn will go crazy!

Almost two months...

Almost two months that #Tavorn_by_KC clothing has been created. If I was allowed to choose one adjective to describe the task : TOUGH!

Beginning almost from the scratch, now I have a small but effective seamstress teams, of course still in the phase of fine tuning and I still have to diversify more. I have several fabric supplier channels, which need to be broaden.

The most challenging is to find the right and multitasking saleslady. This is very difficult. How to motivate, to teach one person? I can't clone myself, right? If I could, it would be perfect. So I try to take it easy, try to "keep calm and carry on". But I am human. So I need to control my temper. By the way, I am still looking for a saleslady. I am taking any recommendation.

Now I have to think of the PR aspect: mag fashion shoot, advertisement, media plan. How to be most cost effective within a limited budget? A good exercise... Or shall I go for bigger scale business, SME with banking financial support scheme? My head is spinning round the clock. I seriously need a hand, and a good one please.

I have the impression I have to rush, rush and rush. But actually, I need time and space to think, to plan, to breathe and to live. I should follow my dear younger friend @Martinphu advise (www.martinphu.com): slowly but surely. Everything has it's timing. Stick to our belief and style. Knowing what we are doing in every single moment. Let's it glow, let's it grow, wisely, carefully and stylishly.

Hang on tight KC. #Tavorn_by_KC will have its footprint somewhere, somehow with its own timing. Let's keep the fingers crossed and.... Pray ^^

From KCgoesCrazy to Tavorn by KC

It has been a while that I want to hit the fashion biz. Well it is, without doubt, due to my sweet childhood seeing my mom with her seamstress team, her pattern makers, the round fitting room, her shop full of fabric imported from Switzerland, her French lace, etc. At that time, and at my eyes, my mom was one of Bangkok fashion leaders.

I have been sent to France at the age of 11, and did come back to Thailand fifteen years later. At my mom disappointment, I did not undergo fashion courses as she did expect.

And at my own astonishment, here I am. And every single day, I am thinking of my mom, Miss Tavorn (yes Miss with four children, which was out of norm of that time but my mom did not care!) and wish I can be half as good as she was. I would like her name to be back somehow on the fashion scene. Please guide me, support me and help me not to tarnish your name.

I did admire you, and I still am.

Love you mom (I sincerely regret I did not show it to you when you were with me).

KC
